Good, but not great, Italian food that makes up for it with large portion sizes and friendly service. Restaurants in mall parking lots get a bad rap, as some of the best places I've eaten at have been in/around strip malls. Aurora Pizzeria & Pasta Kitchen was a pleasant surprise by how good the pizza was and the portion sizes. My group ordered the Vegetable Sicilian ($21). It was massive - it could easily feed 5-6 people. And it wasn't bad at all - lots of cheese, thick crust, and fresh toppings. Overall it's not the best pizza you'll ever have, but it's certainly above average, and the reviews here are a bit too harsh.

I haven't been there for dinner for while because it is very noisy when busy, This is due to the building design and lack of sound absorbing material on the walls. The food here is very good, but stay away from the Pasta Fagoili, unless you are looking for tomato soup with pasta and a couple beans. I give the PAsta Fagoli Zero stars!

Tomato soup was amazing. Beet salad was awesome. Gary said his panini was good and he doesn't usually say anything. We got a pizza to go Because it was so hard to resist. Think I found my new favorite place.

We left after spending 5 minutes at the table smelling a very strong odor of peppermint. At first we thought someone may have had Vicks vapor rub on but the smell was not going away. The odor went up our nose and felt like it was stinging our eyes. My wife my daughter and myself could not take it and we left. As we we leaving the waitress asked if everything was OK and after my wife told her what happen she said the peppermint smell is the cleaner they use to clean the tables. They really need to consider their guests when selecting unique cleaning supplies, won't be back any time soon. Actualy as I'm writing this it's now been about 30 minutes since we left and we can still smell it on our sleeves and jackets. This is ridiculous!!!!!!!

Ordered Hawaiian pizza and large pepperoni. Both Really lacked any flavor and toppings were sparse. So few pieces of ham you could not taste it. All in household said it tasted like cardboard. Will not return. Too bad they are so close.

I get pizza from here fairly regularly because I refuse to pay $3 delivery fee plus a tip for pats. The pizza is decent and fairly priced. As far as eating in, the pasta dishes and salads are dramatically overpriced for what you're getting. Each time I gave the pasta "one more try" it was always overbooked. The staff have always been attentive and super sweet. Bottom line, Aurora's is fine for pizza (it's not like we have many choices in Jennersville) but not worth it for anything else.

Walking into a strong smell of peppermint. Candles or whatever just a bad idea for a restaurant. Asked our server if the ($9) burger came with fries. Nope but I am able to by them separate. Great a $12 burger in Jennersville really? Did someone move this town closer to philly? Anyone? Superman? Well if I am going to spend $12 I mind as well buy the goat cheese salad for $9 and add the $3 chicken. Food came out piece mail. Kids BBQ wings had a light drizzle of BBQ and they did not eat them. The salad was pretty good. Chicken was over cooked and chewy. Not enough goat cheese but it has potential. Maybe someone else can fry chicken and add more cheese. The rest was ordinary. Nothing to yelp about either way. Overall overpriced and ordinary. No need to return.

Have been to eat here twice. Food was good both times. The service was horrible. I will definitely not be back.

This is a really nice, casual, artsy, not-insanely authentic Italian place of great charm and even better food. (Definitely many, many steps above Olive Garden.) I'm surprised there aren't more recent great reviews. All I can say is that they must have kept a good eye on their yelp page, and acted accordingly, because eating here has been amazing -- My family has been coming here almost every Saturday for the past year or two and we have always received excellent service. The waiters/esses are always attentive, their specials menu is always different, and the portions are really good for the price. The homemade gnocchi is great. My big recommendation is the eggplant rollatini -- it's fantastic, I haven't had it nearly as good anywhere else. Definitely one of my most favorite places to go, or when we're in the mood for someplace familiar and reliable!

Neat clean family restaurant, friendly waitstaff. Great thin crust pizza. I really like that you can bring your own bottle of wine and enjoy it with a meal. There is a small-town homey feel to it as it is one of the few places to sit and eat as a family for a low price and see people that we know as well. We eat there at least once a month (with and without kids).

Great for salads and pizza or classic Italian dinners. Atmosphere is light, airy, and cheerful. Owners are super welcoming and staff extremely friendly.

Aurora Pizzeria has been open for a little over a year and is located in the Jennersville / West Grove area. I can't believe it hasn't been reviewed here on Yelp before now. This was a very good pie, and locally I'll say it's better than any of the other pizzeria's close by. This was a first time visit for both my brother and myself. Upon looking at the menu pizza's are offered in an old world (European styles) and new world (American pizza styles). We ordered the tried and true large pepperoni pie. The crust was super fresh and evenly cooked all round. Even the bottom of the crust had a nice golden color over the entire surface. The sauce was light and neutral. You could tell it was a pulverized tomato instead of just a liquid sauce. I love the mozzarella blend they have. It's got a 'tang' to it that gives it a bit of zip. The pepperoni was just standard. Aurora Pizzeria is also not only a pizza parlor, it's a full service Italian restaurant. They have a large menu of stromboli, calzones, pasta dishes, seafood, chicken and of course a kids menu. We were greeted by the owner when we arrived and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout the visit. The establishment was very clean and has a simple easy to navigate layout. I highly recommend the restaurant and will return next time I'm up in PA.

Very good pizza and decent dinner plates and sandwiche though the Penne ala Vodka is very good.. Best pizza is traditional white though sometimes not quite enough garlic. Kids love then cheese pizza. Friendly staff too. Definitely your best option in the area for pizza.

This place is hit or miss. It seems that the food is always better when dining in, instead of taking out. The service is slow at lunchtime, don't expect to pop in for a quick lunch. Overall the food is pretty good.

So, I think people are completely missing the fact that the dressings (the house dressing, caesar, etc.) are all homemade and my God you don't even know. They're so delicious they should be bottled. A lot of the pasta dishes are available with homemade pasta, which is pretty cool considering many places do not do this anymore. My favorite is the grilled chicken caesar wrap. I'm hooked! My husband loves the calamari and caesar salad. My son is 3, and he will only eat certain things if we tell him "Jim (the head chef/owner" made it. Jim let him try rockfish he was trying out for a special and my son loved it, so now whenever we have fish at home he asks, "is this Jims rockfish?" Jim seems to get my kid to eat things we can't get him to eat, and kids are the biggest critics of all. As for the peppermint smell, I believe that the cleaner they use is something that is non-toxic and I think its environmentally friendly. In all honesty, I'd much rather smell peppermint than bleach cleaner, which is what we used to use at my old restaurant which was gross. My only suggestion is that they start making a daily "special," that includes fries and a soda with their burgers, wraps, and sandwiches. I know they have a special board, but I think they need a specific lunch deal that is like a combo. I know they're not just trying to be a pizza shop because they are also a pasta kitchen and they want to differentiate between the typically pizzeria, but it doesn't hurt to try doing a combo meal for lunches. They have awesome fries and I think doing it at lunch isn't an awful idea, but it is offered on the side for I believe $1 and you get an entire basket of fresh fries. All in all, eat in, give it a try. I think the dressing are awesome and their specials are great (esp. the buffalo chicken meatball with extra bleu cheese dressing on the side it's awesome you need to try). The homemade tomato soup and grilled cheese is really good too. A lot of things here are homemade and people should appreciate that. This is a small family owned establishment, and although every place has pros and cons, I think people are really harping on the negative, which really in all reality is not that big of a deal. People also need to consider, when you have a smaller business and you're making the effort to do more things homemade it takes effort and I'd rather pay more for a homemade dish than go somewhere thats not homemade and pay less. Not everything you get here will be your favorite, but I guarantee if you try a few things you will find a favorite and you will be addicted.

Ate here twice for lunch, so far I had very good experience. They have outdoor seating, nice location off of Route 1, easy to find and park. I love their strawberry walnut salad.

My wife and I are regulars at this wonderful place. The wait staff is awesome and always very friendly. It can get a little noisy, but it's totally worth it. There subs are great, there pizza is great, but there dinners are amazing. I always get the chicken parm and my wife gets the eggplant rollatini. It comes with the best oil induce flatbread and a wonderful salad that we always eat up. A must if your visiting or a local. Oh and get the dessert, even if you take it with you, either the chocolate cake or the carrot cake, they are both awesome. Now I'm hungry...

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
